The Socio-Economic section of the client history is comprised of education, employment, financial, and legal status.

Education
Describe the client’s current highest level of education, and any educational plans

Assess the severity of any educational issues

Describe the client’s usual occupation, and indicate if currently employed

Describe any military service, including if the client was in combat conditions

Assess the severity of any vocational issues

Describe the client’s primary source of income

Indicate if the client’s income from all sources is sufficient for the client’s needs

Show the client’s rating for financial situation and spending habits

Describe the client’s current housing situation

Assess the severity of any financial/housing issues

Legal

Indicate if the client is currently on parole or probation, and if services have been required by the justice system.

Describe the client’s involvement with the legal system.

Assess the severity of any legal matters
