Treatment Plan: Editing Problems

A treatment plan can be created for any client by selecting "Develop Treatment Plan" from the client's record window. The treatment plan window can also be accessed from the client history or assessment.

Select a Problem

When the Treatment Plan Development window opens, any problems that were identified in the client assessment will be listed. Choose one of the identified problems to view details and to add symptoms and long-term goals to the problem.

Editing Problem Details

Once a problem has been selected, you can view and edit details.

For the selected problem, complete the following:

Date Identified: The date that the problem was identified as a target of treatment.

Level: Indicate if the problem is a primary, secondary, or contributing issue.

Discharge Criteria: Select the appropriate criteria from the dropdown list.

Prognosis: Indicate the prognosis for treatment.
Estimated Length of Treatment: Select from the list, or type in the estimated length of treatment to reach the discharge criteria.
